
Havelock City Donates Temple Complex
SamaVihara is set to receive a new temple complex; a donation by Chairman Mr. S P Tao. The construction commencement ceremony was held recentlyamidst a large gathering with Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse gracing the event as chief guest.
Tao’s 69 Year Old Love Affair
Singaporean Chinese S.P. Tao (94) the investor of the US$ 150 million World Trade Centre (WTC) in Colombo as well as in the ongoing US$ 250 million Havelock City Project, first set foot to Sri Lanka some 69 years ago in 1941, when the company to which he was working for in Burma, sent him for “rest and recreation” here, thus beginning his love affair with the island.

Chairman of Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC, S.P. Tao will be in Colombo in the first week of December to present the designs for the final phases of the Havelock City project.

Havelock City Club House Construction Begins
